Wisconsin Sen. Ron Johnson (R) embraced the aloha spirit Wednesday.

During a Senate Homeland and Governmental Affairs Subcommittee on Oversight of Government Management hearing, Johnson, the subpanel’s ranking member, took a moment to honor retiring Chairman Daniel Akaka (D-Hawaii) with a floral lei and a hug.
