It’s a story as old as time itself: the campaign ditty that tugs at the heartstrings and propels that particular candidate into higher office (and beyond).

This post is nothing like that.

Instead, feast your eyes/ears on perhaps the two most misguided and totally inane political jingles EVER.

From the disharmonious singing to the sickeningly guttural bridge to the fact that images in their anti-Romney collage begin to repeat about two-thirds of the way through this effort mars both sides of the audio/video coin. The Internet is bursting with blogs/Tumblr/Twitter accounts devoted to chronicling GOP hopeful Mitt Romney’s every awkward moment, and you all couldn’t fill a 3-minute video?</p> <p>Now, if you’ll excuse us, we need to go rinse our brain with <del>a good</del> any Carly Rae Jepsen parody.</p> <p></body>
