The would-be electronica princess clearly has dreams of bubble gum stardom. But inserting POTUS’ name into your hook, stringing together a synth-pop baseline and surrounding oneself with the non-dancingest group of rejects from Benetton’s fall catalog a Katy Perry does not make.

If Dada remains the ever-optimistic agent of “hope” and “change,” consider these Garden State-born disciples of death metal the harbingers of musical doom. And the pain is widespread. From the disharmonious singing to the sickeningly guttural bridge to the fact that images in their anti-Romney collage begin to repeat about two-thirds of the way through this effort mars both sides of the audio/video coin. The Internet is bursting with blogs/Tumblr/Twitter accounts devoted to chronicling GOP hopeful Mitt Romney’s every awkward moment, and you all couldn’t fill a 3-minute video?
