Capitol Hill Alumni Plan Spooky Rager

A who’s who of former Capitol Hill staffers are looking to bury the hatchet this Halloween, banding together to organize an exclusive bash at Hill Country on Saturday, Oct. 25.

“We don’t always have to be at each other’s throats. You can have fun in this town,” co-host John Murray told HOH.

Earlier this month, invitations were distributed by the co-hosts, a roster that includes former House aides Murray, Laena Fallon, Brad Dayspring and Rob Collins, who all served Majority Leader Eric Cantor (R-Va.); Senate aides Doug Davenport, Kimball Stroud and Missy Edwards, who worked for John McCain (R-Ariz.), Barbara Boxer (D-Calif.)and Thad Cochran (R-Miss.), respectively; and former administration aides Blain Rethmeier and Justin Peterson, who both served President George W. Bush.

Davenport told HOH that co-sponsor FamousDC will likely release 25 passes next week. Ticketholders will enjoy Texas-style barbecue and a show by Godsmack singer Sully Erna.
