Michele Bachmann’s plan to give up her seat at the end of her fourth — and now final — term sparked a battle of words on the Minnesota Republican’s comment-laden Facebook page.

The tea party favorite succeeded, for once, in bringing together the far right and the far left — albeit only so they could viciously tear each other apart:
