Congressional Baseball Game’s Crosstown Appeal

We’re just a few days away from Thursday’s 52nd Annual CQ Roll Call Congressional Baseball Game, and even rival publications are taking note.

Our good pal Ben Terris over at National Journal dives deep in a look at the history of the game and what its competitive nature means to some of the most competitive people on the planet, particularly the burgeoning rivalry between stars Cedric Richmond, D-La., and Ron DeSantis, R-Fla.

Opening pitch is set for 7:05 p.m. on Thursday evening at Nationals Park. Tickets are still available at the Congressional Baseball Game’s website.
