House Democrats Raise More Than Republicans in May

The Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee raised $1.4 million more than the National Republican Congressional Committee for the month of May, according to sources at both committees.

The NRCC raised $4.7 million and had $9.5 million in cash on hand at the end of last month.

CQ Roll Call reported early Thursday morning that the DCCC’s haul in May was $6.1 million. The committee will report $11 million in cash on hand.

Additionally, the GOP committee paid off $1.5 million in debt and has $4.75 million in outstanding money owed.
