Today is Army Day at Washington National’s Baseball Game

Army Times reports that “it’s Army day at the Washington Nationals’ ballpark on Wednesday, and you won’t believe the lineup.”

“Army Chief of Staff Gen. Ray Odierno will throw out the first pitch. Sergeant Major of the Army Ray Chandler will do lineup card delivery. Secretary John McHugh will deliver the game ball. And Lt. Gen. Mary Legere, the intel chief, will announce it’s time to ‘Play ball.’”

“The Nats will take on the Houston Astros in the second of a two-game home series starting at 7:05 p.m.”

“Soldiers are invited to Nationals park on the 2014 season’s day to honor the Army.”
