New Hampshire Sen. Kelly Ayotte stars in the latest ad from Republican Scott P. Brown, her former Senate colleague from Massachusetts who is trying to oust Granite State Democrat Jeanne Shaheen.

Ayotte, who introduced Brown and Sen. John McCain, R-Ariz., at a town hall meeting in Derry, N.H., last week, speaks directly to the camera in the positive spot. “I’m the mother of a 9-year-old and 6-year-old, and I want a better future,” Ayotte says. “And I support Scott Brown because I know he’s for fiscal responsibility, accountable government, and, finally, a healthcare plan that works for all of us.”

“He will give everything he’s got for New Hampshire,” Ayotte says.

The ad begins running Tuesday on WMUR, WBIN and cable, according to the campaign, which declined to characterize the size of the buy.

The race is rated Democrat Favored by the Rothenberg Political Report/Roll Call.
