Brent Roske to Kick Off New Year with Expanded Show

“Chasing the Hill” creator Brent Roske may not have snagged that House seat he was angling for last year. But the political junkie is already positioned on the front lines of history in Des Moines, and he’s gearing up for 2016 with a half-hour long version of “Roske on Politics.”

The veteran TV producer relocated to the Hawkeye State as part of his ongoing mission to get up close and personal with the electoral process. His current project, which is operated in conjunction with the Des Moines Register , is now evolving into a self-styled Sunday show.

When “Roske on Politics” returns on Jan. 4, expect to see Roske chatting up  Sen. Bernard Sanders, I-Vt., tea party favorite Ben Carson and pollster J. Ann Selzer.

“I came to Iowa to direct the sequel to the political drama ‘Chasing The Hill’, which is happening in early March. While in prep I started taping segments for the Des Moines Register, chatting with visiting politicians, and this new half hour show is taking it to another level,” Roske said of the programming bump up.

Additional sit-downs already queued up for 2015 include Maryland Gov. Martin O’Malley and Sen. Amy Klobuchar, D-Minn.
