High-tech Military “Golf Buggies”?

The Daily Mail (UK) reports that “the US Army is developing a golf buggy-like vehicle that can drive itself into a mission, and complete tasks with little supervision from a commander.”

“This technology is designed to allow one soldier to operate multiple driver-less robots at one time.”

“The engineers have now demonstrated how these buggies can be used in tactical missions, to detect targets and create beyond line-of-sight communications.”
