West Point Conference 40 Years After Female Cadets

The Associated Press reports that “West Point is marking the 40th anniversary of female cadets with a conference… this week.”  

“The three-day conference at the U.S. Military Academy begins Thursday and will include remarks Friday by retired Gen. Ann Dunwoody, the first female four-star general in the U.S. military.”  

“More than 500 West Point alumni, Army leaders, cadets, staff, faculty and guests are expected at the Association of Graduates’ conference. Participants will review the achievements of West Point’s female graduates and explore challenges ahead.”
