TSA Official ‘Removed’ After Reports of Bonuses
Head of security operations has been replaced by his deputy, reports say

A Transportation Security Administration official who was targeted during a recent House committee hearing about big bonuses and soul-crushing airport lines has been “removed from his position,” the House Oversight Committee announced on Twitter Tuesday .
Kelly Hoggan, the head of of security operations at the TSA, came under fire during the May 12 hearing for receiving more than $90,000 in bonuses and awards over a 13-month period in 2013-14, according to media reports.

he payments came in spite of slowing security lines and a report by the Department of Homeland Security that detailed numerous security failures at airports around the country.
UPDATE: Kelly Hoggan has been removed from his position as head of security at TSA, following our hearing on May 12 on mismanagement at TSA.
