The candidates’ plans tonight

On Monday, the two major party candidates barnstormed through key states and tonight they’re holding their victory parties very close to one another.

Hillary Clinton’s party is at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center, 655 W. 34th St, New York, NY, and doors open at 6 p.m. Donald Trump’s party is at the New York Hilton Midtown, 1335 Sixth Ave., New York, NY, and doors open at 6:30 p.m.

The MoveOn manatee says to vote

The liberal group MoveOn.org wants you to breathe in and breathe out while watching a gentle manatee float in the water.

The candidates have been challenged

The nonprofit foundation, A Cure for Ellie, challenged Clinton and Trump to take #TheEllieChallenge. In a video entitled “Elliection,” Ellie McGinn asks the candidates to try and pronounce the name of her rare disease: Leukoencephalopathy.

“Seriously, you two, if you can’t say the name of an eight-year-old’s brain disease, do you really deserve to become leader of a free world?” McGinn asked. She is the daughter of a former Hill staffer.

Cocktail Poll: Democrats win

Bourbon Steak in D.C. (2800 Pennsylvania Ave. NW) has been conducting its own mock poll of sorts with four cocktails inspired by former presidents over the past month. Democrats are in the lead with the top two best sellers representing James Buchanan and Harry Truman: 169 total sold. Both GOP cocktails, representing Herbert Hoover and Dwight Eisenhower, are coming in last with a total of 93 sold.
