Japanese women in business

Keidanren, the Japan Business Federation, sent an all-female delegation to the U.S. for the first time this week. Eight female executives arrived Monday for a five-day trip, which has seen them visiting D.C. and New York to discuss the role of women in the Japanese workforce. They’ve met with prominent female leaders like Christine Lagarde, managing director of the International Monetary Fund, and female executives from Honeywell International, BlackRock, and others.
