Republican John Faso and Democrat Zephyr Teachout are about even in New York's 19th Congressional District, a Time Warner Cable News/Siena College poll released Tuesday shows.The poll, which surveyed 678 likely voters in the district, found 43 percent supporting Faso, a former state Assembly minority leader, and 42 percent behind Teachout, a onetime gubernatorial candidate. Fifteen percent said they were unsure or had no opinion.The seat opened up when GOP Rep. Chris Gibson opted against seeking re-election.Teachout recently had former Democratic presidential candidate Sen. Bernie Sanders campaign for her. President Barack Obama won the district by 6 points over Mitt Romney in 2012.The poll was conducted from Sept. 20 to Sept. 22 and had a margin of error of 3.8 percentage points.
