Future of Freight and Supply Chain Symposium

In a two-part virtual event series, CQ Roll Call and Transport Topics endeavor to engage our audiences and lead a vital national conversation.

The resilience of the supply chain has risen in importance this year. Hurricanes, wildfires and the COVID-19 pandemic have forced decision-makers to think differently about the way goods move. This symposium taps into the expertise of both policymakers and business leaders.

The symposium will feature panel discussions among industry leaders as well as one-on-one interviews with U.S. Department of Transportation Secretary Elaine Chao, Sen. Ben Cardin (D-MD) and Rep. Sam Graves (R-MO).

Business leaders will discuss how the year’s crises will change supply chains in the long run, and address ways in which fleets, shippers and 3PLs can better prepare for volatile freight demand. Participants will include:

  • Drew Wilkerson, XPO Logistics
  • Chad England, C.R. England
  • Sid Brown, NFI Industries
  • Jason Ringgenburg, YRC Worldwide
  • Drew McElroy, Transfix
