Author Robert Caro To Discuss LBJ Book

The Pulitzer Prize-winning biography “Master of the Senate” will be the topic of discussion at a lecture Tuesday by author Robert Caro in the James Madison Building’s Montpelier Room at the Library of Congress.

The book is the third volume in the Johnson series by the former Newsday journalist and Nieman fellow. It comes on the heels of earlier installments, “The Path to Power” and “Means of Ascent.”

Caro has also won a Pulitzer for his 1974 work, “The Power Broker: Robert Moses and the Fall of New York.”

The event, which begins at 6 p.m., is free and open to the public. A book signing will follow.
