Annual WalkingWorks Challenge Brings Tips for Better Health to the Hill

Fitness expert Madeline Dolente conducts a stretching seminar at last week’s second annual WalkingWorks Capitol Hill Challenge. The event, sponsored by the Blue Cross and Blue Shield Association, was held to encourage people to incorporate 30 minutes of walking into their daily routine to help improve their health. Attendees to the event were given a WalkingWorks kit that included a pedometer to help keep track of the number of steps they take during the course of a day.
