Originally arriving in Washington in 1998 to work for the Federalist Society, Seckora has also been employed by National Review and The Hill.
Seckora graduated from the James Madison College at Michigan State University in 1998, where she received a bachelor’s in political philosophy, with a minor in German. Originally from Frankenmuth, Mich., Seckora will be managing communications for the conference on health care and education.
Taking over for Seckora as deputy director is Shonda Werry. The 22-year-old will assist in developing coalitions to support both issues specific to the conference and the Republican agenda in general. Werry will also assist in developing constituent coalitions.
Another native Michiganian, Werry studied at the University of Chicago, where she received a bachelor’s in international studies in 2004. During her summer breaks she interned for the SRC.
