‘Daily Show’s’ Stewart to Sign New Book in D.C.

Comedian Jon Stewart, host of Comedy Central’s “The Daily Show,” will be at Politics & Prose Bookstore in Northwest Washington on Friday to sign copies of the show’s new book, “America (The Book): A Citizen’s Guide to Democracy Inaction.”

Stewart will be joined by the show’s executive producer, Ben Karlin.

“America (The Book)” is a playful look at the history of democracy created by the writers of the “fake news” program, which recently won the Television Critics Association’s award for outstanding news and public affairs series.

Stewart and Karlin will be signing copies of the book at 1 p.m. Friday at the store, 5015 Connecticut Ave. NW. The event is a book signing only. For more information, call (202) 364-1919.
