Staff Sgt. John Daniel Shannon testifies before a House Oversight and Government Reform Committee hearing at the Walter Reed Army Medical Center on Monday. The panel was investigating the poor treatment of wounded soldiers receiving care at the hospital. Shannon, who suffered a brain injury and lost his left eye when he was shot in Ramadi, Iraq, said he was released less than a week after being injured.
