Sunday Is Tea Time at Capitol Hill’s Lincoln Park

The fledgling H Street Community Market is hosting its first summer Mint Tea Social from 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday at Lincoln Park on Capitol Hill.

Locally grown mint tea will be provided, and involved neighbors and board members will be on hand to answer questions and speak about the group’s effort to start a cooperative market on the H Street Northeast corridor.

HSCM also has formed six committees and is looking for volunteers to fill them. The group’s goal is to open in the fall of 2008.
