Sen. Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa) holds a news conference on Tuesday to share a set of proposals to cut access to performance-enhancing drugs. He also recommends attaching stiffer criminal penalties to such drugs. The proposal comes on the heels of last week’s report by former Senate Majority Leader George Mitchell (D-Maine) on steriod use in professional baseball.
