An Expanding Brain

Democratic lobbyist Chuck Brain, who started his own one-man firm Capitol Hill Strategies four years ago, is solo no more.

[IMGCAP(1)]This year, Brain, a former aide to Ways and Means Chairman Charlie Rangel (D-N.Y.) and a one-time White House lobbyist in the Clinton administration, brought on A.J. Wojciak as vice president.

Wojciak, former senior legislative assistant to Rep. Earl Pomeroy (D-N.D.), joined Capitol Hill Strategies from the BlueCross BlueShield Association.

A PR Coup. Quinn Gillespie & Associates has added Stacey Morton Bowlin, a former consultant to Ford Motor Co. and one-time vice president at Dittus Communications, to bolster its public relations department.

Jack Quinn, the firm’s co-founder, said in a statement that Bowlin “will successfully elevate our communications program to a new and important level.”
