California: Feinstein, Boxer Will Carry Speier in Primary

Democratic Sens. Barbara Boxer and Dianne Feinstein have endorsed former state Sen. Jackie Speier in her bid to replace retiring Rep. Tom Lantos (D) in the 12th district.

The Democratic establishment is falling in line behind Speier, who for now is the only Democratic candidate running to succeed Lantos in the liberal, San Francisco-area district.
