The Coalition for Patent Fairness has signed some heavyweight talent for what it hopes will be the final rounds of the fight over patent reform.

[IMGCAP(1)]The collective of technology and communications companies — including Google, Microsoft, News Corp., and Time Warner — has inked a deal with the Breaux-Lott Leadership Group. The firm, founded earlier this year by former Sens. John Breaux (D-La.) and Trent Lott (R-Miss.), will work to round up Senate support for the bill, which passed the House in September.
