New Hampshire: Huckabee Endorses Clegg in GOP Primary

Former presidential contender Mike Huckabee (R) is raising money for state Sen. Bob Clegg, one of the candidates in the crowded GOP field looking to challenge freshman Rep. Paul Hodes (D).

As part of Huckabee’s newly formed Huck PAC, the former Arkansas governor wrote on his Web site that he picked Clegg as one of the political action committee’s first candidates to support. Clegg worked for Huckabee’s New Hampshire presidential operation until the January primary and soon after he announced his campaign for Congress.

Clegg is joined by three other candidates in the Republican field: former radio host Jennifer Horn, Grant Bosse, a former aide to Sen. John Sununu (R), and attorney Jim Steiner.
