Nation: BIPAC Endorses GOPers for 3 Open House Seats

The Business-Industry Political Action Committee late last week endorsed three more House candidates, bringing to eight its number of Congressional endorsements this cycle.

BIPAC bestowed its endorsements on three Republican candidates running in open-seat races: Minnesota state Rep. Erik Paulsen, who is running in the open-seat race to replace retiring Rep. Jim Ramstad (R); Ohio state Sen. Steve Austria, running to replace Rep. David Hobson (R); and Florida state Sen. Bill Posey, the consensus GOP choice to replace Rep. Dave Weldon (R).

In statements, BIPAC president and CEO Gregory Casey noted that all three lawmakers have a combination of business and legislative experience that will make them solid votes for business interests in Congress.
