Four Protesters Arrested Sunday

Denver police arrested four protesters Sunday near the Wells Fargo Theater on East 14th Street, near the Colorado state Capitol. Denver residents Matthew Waldron, Frank Anello, Austin Hunter and Destinye Maynes were arrested at about 2 p.m., about an hour after about 500 protesters marched from the state Capitol toward the Pepsi Center. Waldron was charged with disturbing the peace and trespassing; Anello was charged with interference and false information; Hunter was charged with false information; and Maynes was charged with disobedience to lawful order. No further information was immediately available, but a spokesman with the Denver Joint Information Center said it appeared they were protesters who “got out of hand.”
