Obama Steps Offstage, Into ‘Chicago’

After a commanding speaking performance at the Democratic National Convention, an admittedly tired Michelle Obama made an appearance at the “Chicago Night” party hosted by Senate Majority Whip Dick Durbin (D-Ill.) and House Democratic Caucus Chairman Rahm Emanuel (D-Ill.).

The would-be First Lady thanked Illinois delegates in a brief speech in which she wondered why people weren’t sleeping.
