McConnell Arrives in Minnesota

Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) arrived at the GOP national convention this afternoon, according to an aide.

He had been delayed in Kentucky because of Hurricane Gustav on the Gulf Coast. McConnell had been receiving daily updates on evacuation plans from federal emergency officials that included the possible relocation of evacuees to his state.
