The wife of Rep. Tim Mahoney (D-Fla.) filed for divorce on Monday, according to the Associated Press.

Terry Mahoney’s actions follow allegations that began trickling out last Monday that detailed the lawmaker’s payment of $121,000 to a former staffer to stay quiet about their soured affair. Last Friday, Mahoney came clean about the affair with the staffer — and another with a local Florida official — but hinted that the procession of former lovers is unlikely to stop at two.

“I don’t know what other women are going to come out,” Mahoney said at a press conference last Friday.
