Hill Wins Rematch With Sodrel

Former Rep. Mike Sodrel (R) has conceded his rematch race against Rep. Baron Hill (D) in Indiana’s 9th district. With 58 percent of precincts reporting, Hill led 58 percent to 42 percent. “I am grateful to my family, friends, and great volunteers that have supported me in this race,” Sodrel said in a statement released by his campaign. “I have known victory and I have known defeat. I am at peace with the outcome.” Sodrel and Hill have faced each other in every election since 2002.
