John McCain (R-Ariz.) may not have spent much time on Capitol Hill this year, but now that he’s just one of 100 again he made sure to attend the Republicans’ weekly policy luncheon on Tuesday. He might have been able to find solace in knowing that he was also part of a much more exclusive group in attendance: failed GOP presidential nominees. Former Senate Majority Leader Bob Dole (Kan.), who lost to President Bill Clinton in 1996, stopped by as well.
