Morning Business: Delay of Game

Ex-Rep. Rick Renzi (R-Ariz.) will not face trial on corruption charges until early June, after a federal judge scratched a scheduled March trial on Monday. [IMGCAP(1)]Renzi is charged in a 44-count indictment that alleges the former Member used his legislative position to push a land deal to benefit a former business partner and also embezzled money from his insurance firm to finance his first campaign. According to documents filed in the U.S. District Court for the District of Arizona, both the prosecution and defense requested the delay, citing ongoing pretrial motions.
