McCue Joins Global Action for Children Board

Susan McCue, former chief of staff to Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.), has joined the board of directors for Global Action for Children, the group announced Tuesday.McCue, who previously worked as the CEO of the ONE Campaign and currently serves as president and CEO of Message Global LLC, is also actively involved in Reid’s 2010 re-election bid. Global Action for Children said McCue’s “political acumen, reputation as dogged advocate to alleviate global poverty and her dedication to social justice issues will be an invaluable addition to the growing GAC Board and future direction of the coalition.— According to the group’s Web site, Global Action for Children is a “non-partisan, results-oriented coalition dedicated to advocating for orphans and highly vulnerable children in the developing world.—
