Boehner Releases Video Questioning Obama’s Foreign Policies

Republicans grasping for an issue where they can gain traction against Democrats and President Barack Obama are turning to an old faithful — fear.

House Minority Leader John Boehner (R-Ohio) unveiled a new YouTube video with Intelligence Committee ranking member Pete Hoekstra (R-Mich.) on Thursday called “Do You Feel Safer?—

The video features clips backed by ominous music about Obama’s decision to close the Guantánamo Bay prison and to end the use of enhanced interrogation techniques. The piece also features photos of Obama shaking hands with Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez and bowing to Saudi King Abdullah followed by pictures of terrorists, explosions and a burning American flag.

“What I’m trying to do here is to push the administration to tell us what is the overarching strategy to take on the terrorists and defeat them and keep America safe,— Boehner said.
