Boehner Places Harper on Ethics Panel

House Minority Leader John Boehner (R-Ohio) on Tuesday tapped freshman Rep. Gregg Harper (R-Miss.) to join the Committee on Standards of Official Conduct.Harper will replace Rep. John Kline (R-Minn.), who became ranking member of the Education and Labor Committee in late June.“I’m truly humbled that my colleagues and the Republican Leadership have asked me to serve on this important committee,— Harper said in a statement.
