Democrats to Hold Special Health Care Caucus This Morning

Senate Democrats are set to hold a special caucus on Wednesday at 11:30 a.m. to discuss the health care reform bill.

Debate on Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid’s (D-Nev.) $848 billion package kicked off Monday, and an amendment to expand access to preventative care is currently under consideration. A vote on the proposal could occur sometime Wednesday. Reid is hoping to pass a bill by Christmas, giving him about three weeks to wrap up work on the measure.
