Iowa Rep. Boswell Gets Another Republican Opponent

The field of Republican candidates challenging Rep. Leonard L. Boswell (D) continues to grow.

Mark Rees, a retired architect, recently filed a statement of candidacy and a statement of organization with the Federal Election Commission to begin a campaign in Iowa’s 3rd district, which includes the state capital of Des Moines.

Rees planned to announce his candidacy later Monday in West Des Moines, according to The Iowa Independent.
