President Barack Obama will meet with top labor leaders at the White House Monday afternoon in a session where several union concerns are likely to top the agenda.

Labor officials are unhappy about Obama’s support for provisions in health care legislation that would tax “Cadillac— health care plans to help pay for health care reform. Some unions have negotiated generous compensation packages, which include plans that could be hit by the tax, for their members.

Union officials also want the White House to step up efforts on behalf of “card check— legislation, which would make it easier for workers to unionize workplaces.

Among those attending the meeting will be AFL-CIO President Richard Trumka; Service Employees International Union President Andy Stern; Change to Win Chairwoman Anna Burger; Teamsters President James Hoffa; and top officials from the United Steelworkers, the National Education Association, the United Auto Workers and the American Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees.
