The Freshman: A Conversation with Sen. Mark Warner

Virginia Democrat Mark Warner was elected to United States senate in 2008. Previously he was the CEO of a telecommunications company and the governor of Virginia.

Roll Call photographer Douglas Graham spent 18 months documenting the campaign, election and freshman year of Sen. Warner.

We recently sat down with Sen. Warner to have him reflect on his first year on Capitol Hill.
