High-Ranking Cantor Aide Leaving for New Venture

Rob Collins, a longtime aide to Minority Whip Eric Cantor (R-Va.), will leave the Hill within days to launch a new political nonprofit, a GOP leadership aide with knowledge of Collins’ decision said Saturday.Collins currently serves as Cantor’s deputy chief of staff and has worked in Cantor’s office for seven years.Few details about the new 501(c)4 were available, and Collins could not be reached for comment.
