Democrats’ Meeting With Obama Postponed

Congressional Democratic leaders are postponing today’s meeting with President Barack Obama until later this afternoon.

The Oval Office meeting, originally scheduled for 10:40 a.m., is being bumped back to this afternoon because of House votes. Democratic aides said the meeting will likely happen around 3:45 p.m.

Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.), House Majority Leader Steny Hoyer (D-Md.), Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.) and Senate Majority Whip Dick Durbin (D-Ill.) will attend the meeting, which will be largely focused on job creation.
