[IMGCAP(1)]This is the funeral program from the 1848 memorial service of John Quincy Adams, which took place in Statuary Hall, the same place where Wednesday’s memorial for Rep. John Murtha (D-Pa.) was held. One interesting detail on Adams’ funeral program is the name of “Mr. Lincoln, of Illinois,” the young freshman who helped arrange the funeral.
