Vicki Kennedy to Attend Health Care Signing Ceremony

Vicki Kennedy, wife of the late Sen. Edward Kennedy (D-Mass.), will join Congressional Democratic leaders at the White House as President Barack Obama signs health care reform into law on Tuesday.

Senators at the signing table will include Majority Leader Harry Reid (Nev.), Majority Whip Dick Durbin (Ill.) and Sens. Max Baucus (Mont.) and Chris Dodd (Conn.).

House Democratic leaders standing by the president’s side will include Speaker Nancy Pelosi (Calif.), Majority Leader Steny Hoyer (Md.) and Majority Whip James Clyburn (S.C.). Democratic Reps. George Miller (Calif.), Henry Waxman (Calif.), Sander Levin (Mich.) and John Dingell (Mich.), the longest-serving House Member and a longtime advocate of a health care overhaul, will also join Obama at the table.
