Authorities Investigating Incident Involving Perriello’s Brother

An investigation is under way into the cutting of a gas line to a grill at Rep. Tom Perriello’s (D-Va.) brother’s house on Tuesday, Perriello’s office confirmed Wednesday.

The gas line incident comes after Politico reported that a tea party organizer, Mike Troxel, posted Perriello’s brother’s address on his blog, believing that it was Perriello’s, and encouraging tea party activists to “drop by.”

It’s the latest in a series of incidents involving Democratic Members during the House health care debate, including death threats, bricks thrown through windows, spitting on a Member, and racial and anti-gay slurs.
