Biden Event Raises $250,000 for DSCC

Vice President Joseph Biden pulled in $250,000 for the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee at a Dallas fundraiser he headlined Friday.

Biden, in town for two national party events, attended the luncheon at the home of plaintiff attorney Russell Budd, and was joined by Senate Majority Whip Dick Durbin (D-Ill.).

“The reports of the demise of the Democratic Party in November are premature,” Biden declared to a crowd of approximately 100.

Biden spoke at a private fundraising reception that benefited the Democratic National Committee earlier in the day.
