HOH’s One-Minute Recess: Par for the Course

Just when you thought the Tiger Woods sex scandal couldn’t get any bigger, two of D.C.’s top journalistic institutions are taking it to a new level — the third dimension.

[IMGCAP(1)]The Newseum and the National Press Club are sponsoring 3-D screenings of the Masters Tournament, which kicks off Thursday afternoon. While the tourney is attracting attention for being the first golfing event that Woods is entering post-scandal, it is also historic because it is the first nationally televised sporting event to be telecast in 3-D.

Along with the screening, HOH hears the press club’s viewing room will feature an on-site putting green, Wii golf game challenges and golf giveaways. And the Newseum will feature a celebrity appearance — golf legend Greg Norman is slated to be on hand.
