New York: Donors Give $350,000 to Arcuri’s Challenger

Republican businessman Richard Hanna raised more than $350,000 in the first quarter for his rematch with Rep. Michael Arcuri (D).

Hanna’s campaign said 91 percent of donors were from the district and 60 percent of individual donations were for $100 or less.

Hanna also has personal wealth and loaned his campaign more than $600,000 for the 2008 race.

Arcuri has not yet released his first-quarter fundraising totals. His campaign had $415,000 in cash on hand as of Dec. 31.
